What is APISA/A Youth Theater Initiative —
APISA/A Youth Theater Initiative seeks to promote a community of Asian American voices in theater and utilize theater as a medium for self expression.
Why —
We hope to create a safe space and a supportive environment. to nurture creativity and self expression among Asian American youth in Ann Arbor Public Schools.
Who can join —
This initiative is open to high school students in the Ann Arbor Public schools who identify as Asian/Asian American and students interested in exploring the diversity within our community. We realize that there is diversity within our AAPI community and there are many perspectives on being Asian in America. We invite you to explore this diversity within our community. There are many opportunities for participation in all aspects of theatrical production.
